Lake Waco was the site of our 4th Qualifying event of the 2025-2026 season. 76 teams hit the water looking for 5 good bites. The lake was 0.47 feet above pool with a water temperature of 61 degrees. Warm temperatures, light breeze and cloudy skies at launch switching to clear blue skies by the afternoon provided some new challenges for these young anglers. When scales closed,

1st Place
Went to Cole Treat and Hoyt Schmunster of the Robinson HS Fishing Team, with a total weight of 23.60 lbs. For their effort the anglers were awarded a 1st Place Trophies, A share of $500.00 in Scholarship Money and an Abu Garcia Max Z Reel.

2nd Place
Went to Will Haferkamp and Dylan McAdams of the China Springs Bass Club, with a total weight of 23.55 lbs. For their effort the anglers were awarded a 2nd Place Trophies, a share of $400.00 in Scholarship Money, and an Abu Garcia Max Z Reel.

3rd Place
Went to Kessler Stokes and Chance Allen fishing for Team Texas Boat World, with a total weight of 23.39 lbs. For their effort the angles were awarded a 3rd Place Trophies, a share of $300.00 in Scholarship Money, and an Abu Garcia Max Z Reel.

4th Place
Went to Jake Thompson and Eli Daniel of the Live Oak Classical Fishing Team, with a total weight of 19.94 lbs. For their effort the anglers was awarded a 4th Place Trophy a share of, $200.00 in Scholarship Money and a Berkley Lighting Rod.

Went to Cooper Labay and Caden Labay of the Liberty Hill Fishing Team, with a total weight of 19.55 lbs. For their efforts each angler was awarded an Abu Garcia Rod and Reel Combo.

6th Place
Went to Kenji Urade and Fisher Tindell of the Bosqueville HS Fishing, with a total weight of 18.75 lbs. For his efforts the angler was awarded an Abu Garcia Max Z Reels.

7th Place
Went to Barrett Gray and Eric Walker of the Liberty Hill Fishing Team, with a total weight of 18.45 lbs. For their efforts each angler was awarded Berkley Lighting Rods.

8th Place
Went to Braxton Hamilton and Wyatt Hatfield of the China Springs Bass Club, with a total weight of 18.30 lbs. For their efforts each angler was awarded Fishing Tackle Pack.

Big Bass Award
Went to Cole Treat of the Robinson HS Fishing Team, with a very nice 10.36 lbs Largemouth.
